Second Islamic Finance Forum to be held in Astana 0

Second Islamic Finance Forum is going to be held in Astana on September 20, 2011. The event is a part of the Government’s efforts for stimulating development of Islamic finance, one of the economic priorities of Kazakhstan.

Various high-ranked state officials, regional policymakers, local and foreign investors, experts, reputable academics, and representatives of local authorities are expected to participate in the Forum. The event provides with a unique opportunity to discuss the latest developments and trends in the Kazakhstan Islamic Finance sector, as well as its current legal, regulatory and supervisory issues.

The chief organizers of the event are consulting company “Akyl-Kenes LLP”, “Grata” law firm and “Herbert Smith LLP” London-based international law firm in cooperation with the Arab Business Club and “Caspian Business Events”.
