Russian Promsvyazbank opens Almaty office

Russia’s Promsvyazbank, one of Russia’s ten largest banks by assets, has opened a representative office in Almaty, RIA Novosti reported on Tuesday. Promsvyazbank said in July it was  planning to  branch out into Kazakhstan.  There are already three other Russian banks operating in the country – Sberbank, Alfa-Bank and VTB Bank.

Moody’s, the credit rating agency, changed to stable from negative the outlook on the B3 corporate family rating and the B3 default probability rating of RG Brands,  a  Kazakh food and  soft  drinks producer.
