(SRI) – Only a strong financial institution will be allowed to buy Samruk-Kazyna’s majority stake in BTA Bank, the state company’s head Kairat Kelimbetov told journalists on Monday, indicating that Russia’s Sberbank was in a good position to gain control over the Kazakh bank.

Kazakhstan, China to form joint venture to build pipeline
